Isabell Stamm is group leader in new MPIfG research group on family wealth

Since November 2021, Isabell Stamm, affiliated member of the IMPRS-SPCE faculty, has been the group leader of the new MPIfG research group “Business, Ownership, and Family Wealth.” The group focuses on family capitalism in Germany with special emphasis on social inequality. Topics of exploration are how owner families manage to reproduce control over their businesses over generations and how the importance of ownership for the family as well as societal expectations of owner families change over time. Additionally, Isabell Stamm has taken on a lead role in the MPIfG Research Focus Wealth and Social Inequality. Previously, she has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and was head of the Freigeist Junior Research Group “Entrepreneurial Group Dynamics” at Technische Universität Berlin.
