New doctoral students at the IMPRS-SPCE in fall 2021

At the start of the winter semester 2021/2022, the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) welcomes nine new researchers to the doctoral program of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE): Thomas Barrett, previously at Freie Universität Berlin; Anna Hehenberger, formerly at Kingston University, London; Muhammad Osama Iqbal, previously a financial analyst at ExxonMobil, Budapest; Ole Paeger, a graduate from the University of Cologne; Franziska Wiest, from Friedrich Schiller University Jena; Valentin Rottensteiner, Zarah Westrich and Jeremiah Nollenberger, all graduates of the University of Duisburg-Essen; as well as Ceren Çevik. The IMPRS-SPCE is a joint international doctoral program of the MPIfG, the University of Cologne, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. Thirty-two doctoral students are currently enrolled in the program.
