Head of Department on the Sociology of Organization, Work, and Economy at the Technical University of BerlinIsabell Stamm heads the Department on the Sociology of Organization, Work, and Economy at the Institute of Sociology at the Technical University of Berlin. Before joining the TU Berlin, she was head of the research group on Business, Ownership, and Family Wealth at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies. Her research focuses on self-employment, entrepreneurial activity, business ownership, and new forms of family capitalism. She is currently investigating the structures and practices of a property-owning elite in Germany.
