Max Planck Summer Conference. Economy and Society: Europe in Crisis
At the beginning of July 2018, around twenty young researchers and social scientists attended the Max Planck Summer Conference on Economy and Society. The event was hosted by the European University Institute (EUI) and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies in Florence. Three lectures on the conference’s theme of “Europe in Crisis” were given by Hanspeter Kriesi (EUI), Manuela Moschella (Scuola Normale Superiore), and Birgid Laffan (EUI). The conference is an opportunity for doctoral students of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPPRS-SPCE) and all partner institutions to present their projects and receive valuable feedback.
