New Doctoral Students at the IMPRS-SPCE in Fall 2022
A cohort of five new doctoral students join the IMPRS-SPCE in the 2022/23 winter semester. Adriana Cassis from Universidad Casa Grande, Guayaquil, Ecuador, is working in her dissertation on the transnational economic and political activities of the second generation. Emma Ischinsky from the University of Cologne is studying the involvement of the super-rich in the political sphere. Pauline Kohlhase, previously at the University of Duisburg-Essen, is interested in intersectionality and the distributional effects of growth models. Moritz Raykowski and Max Willems both graduated at the London School of Economics and Political Science and are working on disability and on energy transition in developed economies, respectively. The IMPRS-SPCE is a joint international doctoral program offered by the MPIfG, the University of Cologne, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. It is currently hosting thirty-three doctoral researchers.
