News from the IMPRS-SPCE faculty

October 21, 2021

In September 2021, the faculty of the International Max Planck Research School on the Social and Political Constitution of the Economy (IMPRS-SPCE) welcomed two new members: Achim Goerres, Professor of Empirical Political Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen, and as an affiliated member Isabell Stamm, new group leader of Jens Beckert’s Research Group on Wealth and Social Inequality at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies. With gratitude for his long-standing membership and valuable contribution to the work of the IMPRS, the faculty bids a warm farewell to Mark Ebers. The Chair of General Business Administration, Corporate Development and Organization at the University of Cologne is leaving the faculty due to his retirement. The IMPRS-SPCE faculty is made up of professors from the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
