Course Preview and Colloquium Schedule

 

Doctoral Colloquium

Doctoral students meet roughly every two weeks each term for the IMPRS-SPCE Doctoral Colloquium, where they present their dissertation projects and attend lectures and workshops given by visiting doctoral students and senior scholars. Each colloquium session is conducted by one of the IMPRS-SPCE faculty members at the MPIfG.

Courses

During their 39 months of study, the doctoral students can choose from a variety of courses. While most of them are offered once a year during the spring or fall term by members of the IMPRS-SPCE faculty, a specified range of courses offered by external institutions may also be included in each student’s personal curriculum.
