Cooperation with International Partners

Given the international character of research in comparative political economy, economic sociology, historical institutionalism and organization studies, international cooperation is crucial to the program. Detailed arrangements have been made with international partners to enable students to gather international experience and develop their work in an international context. In addition, students can obtain a joint bi-national doctoral degree from the University of Cologne and Sciences Po, Paris, through a standardized procedure under the so-called “cotutelle” regime.
